"Each year, Richards would try to outdo himself: The Grateful Dead,"

The book says that Mary Lea's son brought the Dead (Who are these dirty people?) so could they have played later on in the 80's? Mary Lea was born in the 20's and Marty the 30's so they would seem a little early to be Dead fans on their own.

BUT, I pulled up a nymag.com article and it stated that Mary Lea DID give Marty a SouthHampton estate in 1978 as a wedding present (nice present, huh?) So, I'll bet you are right about the show being out on the Island on Gin Lane.

I pdf'd some of the pages before returning the book and I will try to get them up here some how.
